As was pointed out by a friend…how early did Zeb have to start drinking in order to get arrested for DWI before dinner time? Never mind the whole leaving the scene of an accident, and evading arrest. Dang – he broke more laws before 6pm than most people do all year. There’s a leader! From the Birmingham News:
State Senate Majority Leader Zeb Little’s Friday night arrest was not his first run-in with state troopers, according to court records.
Little, 40, of Cullman, was arrested by Alabama state troopers on Interstate 65 North around 5 p.m. Friday.
Official reports say Little collided with another vehicle, left an accident scene, failed to stop for state troopers, had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, smelled of alcohol and was driving with an expired license.
