The future of Ohio education hangs in the balance, and the Ohio Governor’s office is relying Wikipedia as a primary resource for education overhaul? What, was the CliffsNotes version of education reform all sold out at the book store? Education Reform for Dummies hasn’t been published yet (by the way, both CliffsNotes and the Dummies series are very helpful tools in understanding complex issues – hence the joke in case you were on the verge of being offended). Will some leader from the Democrat side please stand up and say enough of this Wiki-hiding the football game. Lets tell voters the truth about our education reform plan! From Recordpub.com:
The Ohio Supreme Court has granted House Republicans a few more days of attention in their battle with Gov. Ted Strickland over his education reform package.
Or, more specifically, over the paperwork that went into developing the much-touted evidenced-based plan.
Rep. Seth Morgan, a Republican from the Dayton area, for weeks has attempted to obtain documents from the Democratic administration.
He argues that lawmakers need the information before voting on the biennial budget — how can they make an informed decision on a wide-ranging overhaul of education and school funding without knowing the plan’s basis?
