From ExaminerDC:
Georgia state Sen. Judson Hill, who represents eastern Cobb County and Sandy Springs, intends to enter the race for Attorney General of Georgia to succeed Attorney General Thurbert Baker, who is running for Governor. Georgia State Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers acknowledged Sen. Hill’s intentions this morning at a meeting of Republican activists in Roswell as he introduced Sen. Hill to the gathering.
Judson Hill is serving his third term in the Georgia Senate and is Vice Chairman of the Senate Republican Caucus. He serves on a number of committees, including the Judiciary Committee. He has been a leader in the Senate on health-care issues. In 2008, he authored and successfully passed the nation’s first patient-centered, prevention-focused free market healthcare reform legislation, which is making healthcare and health insurance more affordable for Georgia citizens.
