Lexington County representative Nikki Haley says she is planning on seeking the Republican nomination for governor in the Palmetto State.
Haley now joins several others seeking the nomination to suceed Gov. Mark Sanford in 2010.
Furman University professor Brent Nelsen, Rep. Gresham Barrett and state Sen. Larry Grooms have all announced their intentions to seek the nomination as well. While Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer and Attorney General Henry McMaster have not made announcements, many believe they will run.
