State Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, has officially jumped into the 7th Congressional District Republican primary battle to replace U.S. Rep. Roy Blunt in 2010.
Nodler, who represents Dade, Jasper and Newton counties, announced his candidacy this morning at the Discovery Center in Springfield. He is planning a 2:30 p.m. rally at Granny Schaffer’s Continental Banquet Center in Joplin.
Nodler joins state Sen. Jack Goodman, Springfield auctioneer Billy Long, Greene County Prosecutor Darrell Moore and Ozarks Technical Community College instructor Jeff Wisdom in the race to be southwest Missouri’s next U.S. House representative.
