GOP AG Bruning Breaks Down Check Scams:
You don’t have to do a lot of research to avoid being a victim. You don’t have to know how the banking system works, or how long it takes for a check to really clear, said Attorney General Jon Bruning at the Wednesday news conference.
All you need to know is one fact. “If they overpay you, it’s a scam.” Bruning said.
