From Capitol Weekly:
Education, once the top concern of California voters, is now down the list of priorities, far below the weak economy and narrowly behind public safety, according to a new statewide poll.
Nearly one in three voters – 31.2 percent – cited the economy as their top concern, more than double the number – 15.3 percent – whosaid they were most concerned about public safety. Some 12.5 percent said the government was their top concern, while 12 percent cited education. The Probolsky Research/Capitol Weekly Poll surveyed 751 registered voters.
