AG Bruning and AG McKenna Take Leadership Roles in NAAG

Attorney General Jon Bruning is taking internet issues to the forefront of a new leadership post. Bruning was unanimously chosen as President of the National Association of Attorneys General.

Bruning will serve as President for one year. He has been a key player in steps taken for internet protection by the organization in recent years. Bruning says his major goal is to strengthen internet protection against sex predators and online fraud.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to serve in a role that will elevate the national awareness of issues crucial to the state of Washington, from protecting the environment, to combating gang violence and reducing the deadly impact of prescription drug abuse,” McKenna said. “This is the most active and effective national association for statewide elected officials. I’m honored that my fellow attorneys general nationwide have selected me for this position.”
