Also of interest in this story (we can’t believe it wasn’t in the headline!) are Democrat and Republican primary poll numbers for the AGs race. On the Democrat side neither of the 3 tested Democrat candidates are polling more than 13% of the vote (10%, 11%, 13%) and on the GOP side of the ledger 79% of voters are undecided in the 2-way match up tested there. You can get the whole survey here. From the OrlandoSentinel.com:
Republican Bill McCollum holds a slight lead over Democrat Alex Sink in Florida’s 2010 governor’s race, according to the latest Mason-Dixon poll released Tuesday.
McCollum, Florida’s attorney general, held a 41 percent to 35 percent edge over Chief Financial Officer Sink in the poll commissioned for Ron Sachs Communications, a public relations firm in Tallahassee.
From Sachs’ shop:
“McCollum enjoys high name recognition from 87 percent of registered Florida voters, while Sink is recognized by 61 percent.
