The city prosecutor in Junction City said Thursday he plans to seek the Republican nomination for attorney general in 2010.
Ralph DeZago, of Herington, said in a news release that he served in the military and worked for 16 years as a public defender in Salina, Abilene, Junction City and Manhattan. He is currently the city prosecutor for Junction City. He said in the statement he also worked as an assistant attorney general.
“The people of Kansas deserve an attorney general with experience in all aspects of the law,” he said. “My background will help make Kansas a better and safer place to live.”
