From the Montana Standard:
The recent hiring of a Butte legislator and state Democratic Party director for the No. 2 job in the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks has ignited charges of political cronyism against the Schweitzer administration.
Two weeks ago, Rep. Art Noonan was hired as deputy director of the state wildlife agency for an annual salary of $85,508.
Yet he’s not the only legislator who’s been hired the past three years for a relatively high- paying state job.
