From MyFox Memphis:
Former Shelby County Mayor, Bill Morris, reflects about Kyle, “You know the thing that’s been his hallmark? Ethics. He’s never wavered once in his public persona.”
G.A.Hardaway, Memphis state rep says of Kyle, “I have seen him go nose-to-nose with the Governor, nose-to-nose with the Republican Caucus, nose-to-nose with the House as a whole and to bring home the money as well as develop the policies that benefit Memphis and Shelby County.”
But, on Tuesday, in front of the picturesque University of Memphis Library that bears the surname of one of his Democratic primary opponents, Kyle took center-stage in announcing his candidacy to become the 49th Governor of Tennessee….running on a platform stressing long-range improvement in the state’s higher education opportunities that could eventually lead to better paying jobs state-wide.
