From the Beacon News:
Ending months of speculation that he would run for governor, House Minority Leader Tom Cross announced this week that he will be seeking his 10th term as a state representative.
Cross, R-Oswego, said on Monday that he was aware of the rumors about a gubernatorial bid and that he did consider such a run. In the end, he opted not to, citing work with the 84th District and a desire to spend more time with his family as reasons.
