A Republican councilman from the suburban Indianapolis town of Fishers has announced his intention to run for Indiana secretary of state next year.
Charlie White says he’s spent 10 months touring nearly 70 counties as an exploratory candidate. Current Republican Secretary of State Todd Rokita is term-limited from seeking a third term in 2010.
