The St. Paul Legal Ledger’s Capitol Report is all over the early filings of candidates to run for the Legislature in 2010.
Last month, it listed 35 candidates who’ve filed the paperwork with the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board. Look out, it warned first-term DFL Sen. Kevin Dahle of Northfield: Three Republicans are already waiting in the wings to run against him.
Now, the report says, there are seven more candidates around the state looking to run against incumbents. Remember, this is for the election next November.
