From Tricities.com:
Southwest Virginia voters appear to be staying in the red this year.
Responding to poll questions regarding the Nov. 3 election, the region’s voters gave Republican candidates for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general hefty leads over their Democratic rivals.
Conducted by Mason Dixon Polling and Research for the Bristol Herald Courier and other Media General newspapers, the poll asked likely voters who they would choose if the election were held today. The results have a margin of error of plus or minus 4 points.
Among the results, Republicans Bill Bolling and Ken Cuccinelli are enjoying 14-point leads among Southwest Virginia voters in their respective races for lieutenant governor and attorney general.
