Attorney General Bill McCollum October 19th unveiled a new website designed to help law enforcement officers and Floridians combat gang activity in their communities. The website, located at http://www.floridagangreduction.com, explains the Attorney General’s Gang Reduction Strategy, offers tips on how to recognize gang activity and prevent youth involvement, and facilitates communication between participants in the statewide strategy’s regional task forces.

“Gang activity wreaks havoc on the safety and well-being of our citizens, as well as on our economy,” said Attorney General McCollum. “This website provides a valuable tool to encourage awareness and prevention of gang related activity and further promotes the goals of our Gang Reduction Strategy.”
