From DispatchPolitics:
A year and a half after the Statehouse was riveted by lurid tales of booze, lewd behavior and sex among members of the attorney general’s inner circle, the figure at the center of that scandal was sentenced to 45 days in jail and nearly $7,000 in payments.
Investigators continued to insist yesterday that Anthony Gutierrez won’t necessarily be the only former employee of the attorney general’s office to face justice in the wake of the scandal that toppled Ohio’s top lawman, Marc Dann, in May 2008.
But with the statute of limitations on some possible charges expiring in May, there are no obvious signs that prosecutors are closing in on other targets.
