Public Policy Polling’s Tom Jensen says Castle’s 45 to 39 percent lead shows his vote against the House healthcare overhaul bill didn’t hurt him.
Brian Walsh with the National Republican Senatorial Committee says the numbers reflect dissatisfaction the healthcare bill, economic stimulus package and other Democratic initiatives.
Jensen says Castle’s lead in this survey, which has a margin of error of roughly 4 percent, is only 2 points smaller than the edge the moderate Republican had in March, when another PPP survey had him up by 8 points.
