Secretary of State William Galvin is popping up on television these days, talking to the public about voting and financial fraud.
Political observers say the public service announcements could also pay him a political dividend amid a highly charged political season.
Democratic media consultant Dan Payne says Galvin is a potential candidate for attorney general if Democrat Martha Coakley wins her campaign for the U.S. Senate. The ads — paid by the state or federal governments — offer him a chance to get his name and face before the public.
