Alabama Attorney General Troy King sent letters to Australian officials today, reminding them of their promises to assist King’s office with its investigation of the 2003 drowning death of Christina Thomas Watson of Helena.
In separate letters to Queensland Attorney General Cameron Dick and Police Commissioner Bob Atkinson, King expressed his disappointment that their offices have failed to forward case documents and evidence to Alabama, requested in September 2009, so the state can work to build a case against Gabe Watson of Hoover.
Gabe and Tina Watson were married 11 days when she drowned on an Oct. 22, 2003, scuba diving expedition off the coast of Queensland.
