From USA Today:
Beau Biden, the attorney general in Delaware who served a National Guard stint in Iraq last year, issued a statement this morning saying his “first responsibilities” are to his home state and as Delaware’s top lawyer. So he’s running for another term as attorney general, which will no doubt cause Democrats to scramble in Delaware to keep the seat in their column and to try to win enough seats in November to get the 60 votes needed to block Republican filibusters. GOP Rep. Mike Castle, who is popular at home and has already served as Delaware’s governor, jumped into the Senate race months ago.
Biden said he wants to continue his work as attorney general and as head of the Child Predator Task Force, which helps the children of abuse and their families.
