From Las Vegas Sun:
First term Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki says he won’t run for the U.S. Senate to unseat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Krolicki, a two-term state treasurer, said he will be seeking a second term as lieutenant governor.
The first-term Republican lieutenant governor had said he was giving the Senate race serious consideration after receiving encouragement from Washington insiders, including Ariz. Sen John McCain.
Republicans in Washington are afraid the current crop of GOP challengers to Reid is second-tier.
