From The Star Press:
Indiana House Minority Leader Brian Bosma says it’s more important to pass sound bills on key issues than it is to adjourn the legislative session.
The Indianapolis Republican says he hopes legislators can finish business this week and adjourn before the March 14 deadline. Democratic House Speaker Patrick Bauer of South Bend wants to adjourn by Thursday.
But Bosma says it’s worth going longer if that’s what it takes to pass good bills on issues such as unemployment insurance taxes and benefits, helping schools offset budget cuts and create jobs.
