From the Arizona Republic:
Frank Antenori, the state’s newest senator, faces a short trip across the Capitol courtyard to move into his new office.
The Pima County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday named the Tucson Republican to fill the seat that Sen. Jonathan Paton vacated last week to run for Congress.
Antenori has been a lawmaker for 14 months, serving in the House of Representatives. His move from the House to the Senate will create yet another legislative vacancy, which the Pima County board will have to fill.
