From Tulsa World:
Scott Pruitt, a former state senator from Broken Arrow, intends to seek the Republican nomination for attorney general, he said Monday.
“After much prayerful consideration with friends and family, I’ve decided to launch a campaign for attorney general,” Pruitt said in a statement. “While a formal announcement is still forthcoming, I’m now in the process of filing the necessary paperwork and getting my campaign team in place.”
The Republican field for attorney general already includes Oklahoma City attorney Ryan Leonard and state Sen. Clark Jolley of Edmond.
