From CTpost.com:
Avon attorney Martha Dean is kicking off her bid for the Republican nomination for Connecticut attorney general.
Dean was the GOP’s nominee in 2002, when she waged an unsuccessful challenge of Attorney General Richard Blumenthal. Blumenthal is now seeking his party’s nomination for U.S. Senate, hoping to fill the seat being vacated by Sen. Chris Dodd.
Dean will announce her campaign platform Tuesday at the state Capitol. She says she will work to make the state competitive and prosperous.
