From Inforum:
Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem says daily breath testing for people arrested for a repeat drunken-driving offense has worked well – and the effort is being expanded.
The program began almost two years ago in south-central North Dakota. It’s being tried in Cass and Grand Forks counties this year.
It requires people who have been arrested more than once for drunken driving to take breath tests twice a day. If they flunk one, their bail is revoked and they’re jailed.
