Luther Strange, fresh off a GOP primary victory over Attorney General Troy King, said Tuesday he would help victims of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico if elected and fight the “massive overreach” of federal power over health care laws.
Speaking before the Madison County Young Republicans, Strange said the Attorney General’s Office should help get oil spill money to victims, not lawyers. He noted the billions involved in offsetting losses from the spill.
