Louisiana television station KPLC out of Lake Charles has picked up the beat of criticism on Attorney General Charlie Foti’s “public lynching of a few medical professionals who rode out Hurricane Katrina under the most dire conditions possible” that we mentioned a couple of weeks back. Editorial sentiment appears to be gelling around the thought that Foti jumped the gun in his comments that these medical professionals “played God” with their patients lives.
It looks like the attorney general got a little to swept up in the political tide that was Katrina and is now sinking back to reality.
