From 11alive.com:
– It is an ugly race between democrats seeking the job as state attorney general.
At issue — a 30 second television commercial from Rob Teilhet’s campaign taking aim at Ken Hodges’ time as Dougherty County District Attorney.
Emily Walker’s son died December 10, 2003. Police thought he was a drug dealer. He wasn’t. A grand jury deliberated for 41 minutes after hearing 7 witnesses, 5 of them police officers and the decided against indictments.
“It’s a powerful ad, Emily Walker’s story and it’s true. This is a family looking for justice,” Teilhet said.
It is the most talked about television ad in Georgia politics with almost 15,000 YouTube views. But Hodges supporters challenge the veracity of its claims.
