During a poll of Republican voters on the gubernatorial race by the Glengariff Group, respondents were also asked which candidates they support in the races for Attorney General and Secretary of State. In the AG race, Senate Majority Leader Mike Bishop got 19.4 percent and former state judge Bill Schuette got 18.8 percent, a virtual dead heat.
State Sen. Michelle McManus leads the Secretary of State race with 9.4 percent, with state Sen. Cameron Brown at 7.6 percent, Rep. Paul Scott at 5.2 percent, Oakland County Clerk Ruth Johnson at 4.4 percent and Calhoun County Clerk Anne Norlander at 2.2 percent.
