Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has nearly three times the campaign cash as challenger Scott Hassett.
The campaigns released their fund-raising totals for the first half of the year Tuesday. Van Hollen, a Republican, had $340,998 on hand. Hassett, a Democrat, had $120,563 in the bank.
Van Hollen also easily outpaced Hassett in individual contributions, amassing $186,650 over the first six months of the year compared with Hassett’s $62,286.
