Is the era of big government over in Iowa? Sounds like there’s an effort to end it in Oklahoma.
OKLAHOMA CITY — House Speaker Lance Cargill said he found it “very encouraging” to learn that Iowa had reduced its number of executive agencies from 64 to 24.Cargill, R-Harrah, said Oklahoma has 99 executive-branch agencies and about 400 more boards and commissions.
