Read this article – Tim Kaine is talking about English and German companies coming to Virginia…he’s equating day labor regulation and illegal immigration enforcement with the building of Rolls Royce engines and Volkwagens – come Governor – are you really that out of touch with the issue that’re facing your citizens? This is a brave new strategy of state and local Democrats we’ve never seen before. It’s still far behind the leadership of Republican state and local officials we wrote about here.
As lawmakers and county officials look to pass laws that restrict services for illegal aliens and give local law enforcement agencies more deportation powers, foreign-owned companies will be less likely to move to the state, Kaine said.“As I see what is happening politically around the state, I worry that the rhetoric and demagoguery sends out an extremely unwelcoming message,” Kaine said during his monthly radio call-in show on WTOP.
