From ElkoDailyPress:
Nevada Republican Party Chairman Sen. Mark Amodei, R-Carson City, said Wednesday the state party is focusing on “turning folks out to vote” in the Nov. 2 election to put Republicans in office.
He also said Republicans “need to reach out and touch as many independents as we can.
“We’ve been blessed with a phenomenal amount of volunteers,” Amodei said at the new Elko County Republican Party headquarters during a town hall gathering. Former Elko resident Ralph McMullen echoed his comment on volunteers.
McMullen, who is the northern Nevada director for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle and chairman of the Washoe County Republican Party, said people are even coming from out of state to help with Angle’s campaign.
