So, to avoid toys with lead content either a) buy American; or b) make your own toys – just no lead.
The State of California is taking an aggressive stance on the issue, as on November 19, the California Attorney General Jerry
Brown and Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo filed a lawsuit against 20 companies that reportedly manufacture or sell products containing “unlawful quantities of lead.”
