A parks advocacy group says Missouri was shortchanged in a $180 million settlement of a lawsuit over the Taum Sauk Reservoir collapse.The settlement between Ameren Corp. and state officials leaves problems for a Katy Trail link from Windsor to the Kansas City area and doesn’t protect a pristine natural area near Taum Sauk, said Susan Flader of Columbia, a policy coordinator for the Missouri Parks Association.
